Using the latest weapons technology, players fight their way through waves of alien intruders to rid the Earth once again of the outer space scum. 

Released in the US as Powerslave, European gamers know the game under the name Exhumed, published by BMG Entertainment.

The goal of One ROM is for the player to discover the identity of the main character John Cain. The only clue available is a barcode on the player-character's neck. 

At the beginning of the game, John Cain awakens on the floor of an apartment building, with a gun in place of one arm, no memory, and police helicopters shooting missiles through a window. 

The player is pursued across the city and country-side by military and police forces who are apparently intending to kill Cain. 

To combat the police and military forces and other enemies, the player has the option to use Cain's newly installed arm cannon, or rely on more traditional fighting weapons like punch and kicking combos.

Strategy, of course, will be your greatest ally, but a little firepower never hurt an operation either: More than 10 weapons types including M16s, shotguns, and grenade launchers will be at your disposal throughout the experience. 

The game's graphics are stellar, and sound effects like explosions, weapons firing, and commands being shouted out only add to the realistic nature of the adventure. You can command the two-man team by yourself, but dual-player cooperative missions are fun, too.

ARMORINES - Project S.W.A.R.M. ROM is chalk full of gameplay. Dozens of unique enemies that think for themselves make the game very difficult. The AI script is quite incredible, as the enemies seem to be very smart. Possibly one of the best options of the game is the Co-op mode, which allows you and a friend to take on the bugs and attempt to save the world together. 

The environments are also quite amazing; you'll lead your character through sandstorms, snow, rainforests, volcanic eruptions, and even outer space. 

The backgrounds that go along with each situation are also rather breathtaking. The unique weaponry has a lot to do with the great gameplay as well. Your arsenal can become pretty stacked as you gather guns in this sci-fi shooter. 

But what makes this game stand out is its multiplayer capability. With up to four people battling it out, ARMORINES - Project S.W.A.R.M PS ROM. won't get old any time soon. All you action fans who are looking for a game to pass the time, do yourself a favor and pick up this one.
